Eligibility

Two Pathways to Company Formation

Foreigners cannot simply register a company in Saudi Arabia. You need to qualify through one of two routes. If neither applies to you, we'll tell you immediately during the initial consultation.

  • Option 1

You Own an Established Foreign Company

If you don't have Premium Residency, you can establish a Saudi company through your existing foreign entity. Your company acts as the founding entity for your Saudi presence.

    Requirements

    • Your company must be registered in an official commercial register.
    • It must have been actively operating for at least one year.
    • Financial statements must be available or obtainable

These requirements are non-negotiable and set by Saudi regulations, not by us.

  • Option 2

    You Hold Saudi Premium Residency

If you have a Saudi Premium Residency, you qualify directly for company formation. No additional corporate requirements needed — we can proceed immediately.

The Premium Residency program allows qualified individuals to establish businesses without requiring an existing foreign company.

    What this means

    • No existing foreign company required.
    • Qualify as an individual directly.
    • We can begin the process immediately upon verification.

The process

What Happens When You Work With Us

  1. Qualification Review

We verify you meet either Premium Residency or foreign company requirements. We review your business model for Saudi market viability. We identify optimal company structure for your specific situation.

This phase typically takes 1-2 meetings and determines if we can help you effectively.

  2. Documentation Preparation

We prepare all required documentation for the Saudi authorities. We handle translations to Arabic using proper legal terminology. We ensure every document meets current government standards.

Your involvement is minimal. We manage the paperwork while you focus on your existing business operations.

  3. MISA Licensing

We submit your application to the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia. We manage the approval process and address any questions from authorities. We obtain your investment license.

This phase typically takes 1 to 2 weeks, provided that all required client documents are fully prepared and properly certified (Apostille or attested by the Saudi Embassy).

  4. Commercial Registration

We register your company in the Saudi commercial registry. We obtain your official commercial registration certificate. We ensure all company details are recorded correctly.

  5. Government Platform Setup

We register your company on all required government platforms, including ZATCA for tax administration, Qiwa for labor matters, and any sector-specific systems.

We set up your secure access and train you on basic usage.

  6. Tax and Legal Framework

We establish your complete tax structure and ensure full compliance with Saudi regulations. We provide the documentation you need for banking and other business relationships.

Timeline

How Long This Takes

The complete process typically takes 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the client's speed in preparing and providing the required documentation. Our team ensures that all internal steps are handled as quickly as possible.

Our guarantee

12-Week Maximum for Standard Activities

We guarantee completion within 12 weeks for standard business activities. If the process exceeds this timeframe, we will continue supporting you free of consultation charges until completion.

Factors that affect timeline

  • Documentation Completeness

How quickly you can provide the required materials. Delays here are the most common cause of extended timelines.

  • Business Sector

Some industries have additional approval requirements from sector-specific regulators.

  • Government Processing Speeds

Processing speeds can vary seasonally — this is outside anyone's control, including ours.

  • Responsiveness to Queries

Prompt responses to authority questions or requests for clarification keep the process moving.

Transparency

When We Can't Help

If any of these apply, we'll tell you immediately during the initial consultation rather than wasting your time.

  • No Qualifying Status

If you don't hold Premium Residency and don't own an established foreign company, we cannot proceed. These are legal mandates, not our policies.

  • Looking for Shortcuts

Proper formation takes time and investment. Shortcuts create problems that become expensive later. We don't participate in workarounds.

  • Unviable Businesses

We don't take fees for projects we know will fail. If your business model isn't viable in the Saudi market, we tell you honestly upfront.
